#10 Nail Art + Products - Sailor Nails

I painted my nails on Friday night :) I was inspired by sailor colours! You know the blue, red & white? hehe

It took me 2 hours & 35 minutes for both hands! Longest part was probably waiting for my nails to completely dry. The taping didn't take tooo long.

Here are the products I used. From left to right:

• Essie Ridge Filling Base Coat
• Jordana French Manicure White
• Revlon Multi Care Base + Top Coat

I started with the base coat, then 2 coats of white polish to make it more opaque and after my nails were completely dry, I applied striping tape

Pictured here, blue & red striping tape :) To cut off the excess that hung off my nail, I used cuticle clippers because they can get right up in there (ahahaha w0t)

I alternated between colours [see pictures] after the tape was applied, I sealed it with a top coat :)

One con about the tape is it peels off quiet easily ;_; The next day some of my tape was already peeling off & today (Sunday) most of the tape has peeled off. However, it's a cute design & I got compliments on it. teehee
