#14 Nail Art dump + products & tutorial

Nail art dump... haha. Anyway, just a post about some nail arts that I've done recently - these have hardly stayed on for 24hours

1) Rainbow Nails!

How does it look? :3 Very colourful? Good idea for summer? haha I only left this one on for.. a few hours then I took it off. I didn't use a base coat so I was afraid that the neon colours were going to stain my nails.

Products:

I got this nail polish set from my friend - Kirstin! :3 If you're reading this, HIII KIRSTIN! & Thank you :3
It's Kleancolor's Candy Cast Neon Nail Lacquer Mini Collection. From left to right, the colours are:
  • Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Neon Lime, Neon Aqua, Neon Amethyst & Neon Pink.
Tutorial:
I used a makeup sponge for this. I don't have any pictures :( because I forgot to take some but all you do is use a makeup sponge - one for foundation or something & apply a thin line/strip of it along the sponge & keep doing this until you have all the colours. After it's done, press it onto your nail. Do this around 2 times so the colours are opaque. Then you're done!

2) Nebula Nails

Nebula nails! I left this one on for... a night then I took it off the next morning I woke up :P It's quiet a nice combination - kinda has a ~magical~ feel to it ahaha

Products:

All you need is a base coat, a black nail polish & a shimmer nailpolish to go on top. Here from left to right:
  • Essie's Ridge Filling Base Coat
  • Essie - Licorice
  • Revlon - Sweet nothings - Nude Nightie
Tutorial:
So simplified steps - Apply base coat, 2 coats of black nail polish - wait for the black to completely dry then apply 1 coat of a shimmer nail polish :3 And your nebula nails are done!

How do you like my gif making skills? :3 This is how it looks when I move it haha. Kinda glittery looking. Ignore the tiny black writing in the right hand corner. Was suppose to be my watermark but photoshop shrunk it when I re-sized the image T_T

3) Minnie Mouse Nails

Does it look like it? haha not really... ;_; But I tried my best :P Tony said it looked like ladybugs ~.~ which it kinda does.. red, white & black.. haha

Products:

Left to right:
  • Rhinestones
  • Essie Ridge Filling Base Coat
  • Essie - Limited Addiction
  • Essie - Licorice
  • Dotting tool
Tutorial:
I got this idea from this youtube video:

WOW that was one long post! If you've made it this far, then yay :D
haha kk that's all for now.
Holidays are nearly over ): They've gone by so fast ahhh - I should really start studying. ahaha yeeah..
So who's excited for the rugby on Sunday? Might do some nail art for tomorrows game against France! YEAHH ALL BLACKS k bye (づ。‿‿。)づ
